Claire Howard- Robinson
DO, Women’s Health Diploma
I founded Yew Tree Osteopathic in 2006 with a clear vision: to bring together a team of practitioners who could offer truly comprehensive care under one roof.
After years of specialising in women's health, pregnancy, and complex chronic conditions - including time at the renowned Osteopathic Centre for Children in London - I knew collaborative, multi-disciplinary treatment was the key to helping patients with the most challenging conditions.

After more than three decades in practice, I've learned that complex conditions rarely respond to a single approach. That's why I've pursued extensive post-graduate training in obstetrics, neurology, visceral and cranial osteopathy, including the Renzo Molinari diploma in women's health. I draw on this breadth of knowledge to create treatment plans that address the whole picture - structural, neurological, and visceral.
I'm particularly drawn to the cases that require patience and collaborative care: the chronic conditions, the diagnostic puzzles, the women dealing with pelvic pain or navigating the physical demands of pregnancy. These patients often need a practitioner who'll take the time to understand the interconnected nature of their symptoms and work alongside other healthcare professionals to find solutions.

I have been using osteopaths for nearly 40 years after a back injury.
When I moved to Bristol 10 years ago I looked for a good osteopath. A friend recommended Claire at Yew tree and Claire has been keeping me moving and able to keep skiing into my 60’s. My last session was after a tough skiing trip and my knees were just not right; and I had lost power in my legs when squatting. I always feel better after a treatment but this time it was like a miracle as my legs were so much better. It was incredible.
