Jaz Clarke
M'OSt
I am an Osteopath with 7 years clinical experience and 3 years experience in a Musculoskeletal outpatients hospital unit.
I combine structural Osteopathy with soft tissue work and I have a particular interest in adventure sports injuries and chronic conditions.
Areas of Expertise
-
particular interest in cyclists, dancers, climbers
assessment and triage
supported rehab
ongoing management and prevention
support of the older athlete
-
assessment and diagnosis
hands on therapy
activity support
management of flare ups
My route into Osteopathy began with my own body. A keen cyclist across disciplines, as well as a snowboarder, surfer and climber, I have collected my share of injuries and watched friends collect theirs. It was the process of recovery, and the osteopathic treatment I received, that brought me to this second career.
I now work with professional dancers and rugby players, elite cyclists and climbers, amateur athletes, and plenty of people who would not describe themselves as sporty at all. I am particularly interested in long-standing pain that has resisted other approaches, where treatment becomes a process of problem-solving, simplification, support and resolution.

"For 12 years I was having severe pain in my right foot. To the point where I couldn't sleep at night. I went to see Jaz who gave me exercises which in just over a month has relieved the pain to the point where I don't even notice it. I am very grateful for everything they have done for me."
